Established in 2024!
Our commitment to our mission and our Idaho community is deeply-rooted, and we invite anyone to call or text 208-992-6014 to speak with us and answer any questions that you may have.
Supporting Shelters Inc. was founded to provide repairs, renovations, improvements, and animal services to shelters and rescue facilities in Idaho. These services are offered at no cost, meaning we will handle the footwork to find and help secure funding where we are able*. Community donations, grants, and in-kind material donations are what our organization relies on to accomplish these projects with our partners.
By doing this, we hope to alleviate burnout of organizations' volunteers and typically limited, if any paid staff. Keeping up with an organization's day-to-day while also providing care to animals in need is a cumbersome task, and too often thankless. We believe that volunteers and staff that keep these facilities open deserve a helping hand of their own while guiding animals to their forever homes.

Our philosophy is by providing these free services, animals ultimately receive an increased level of care. There are many organizations that support only the animal, and even more shelters and rescues to home them. Instead of reinventing the hamster wheel, this is our approach from a different angle by helping the facility - with the same goal to boost animal welfare!
We can help facilities catch up on crucial maintenance, possible renovations that have been overdue, items such as sanitization schedules that may be behind, bathing and grooming tasks, vaccination sponsorships, and many other services we hope to provide down the road. We hope to partner with many animal lovers as we em-bark...on this journey!​
